Michael Zawrel
Mixed Reality Solutions Specialist, Microsoft
Michael Zawrel started at Microsoft in 2003. Before he moved into the global Mixed Reality Marketing Organization in March 2016 he was the responsible Sales & Marketing Lead in the OEM segment – managing the relationship between the international PC Vendors and Microsoft.
Alongside the international expansion and availability of the first generation of Microsoft HoloLens, he got appointed as the Senior Product Manager in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to define and execute the local Go To market strategy as well as serving as the official spokesperson for Microsoft´s Mixed Reality in this region.
In October 2020 Michael Zawrel moved into the role of a Senior Mixed Reality Solution Specialist for Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Poland where he helps Enterprise customers along their own Mixed Reality journey from Proof of Concept - to Pilots - to large scale enterprise deployment.
Demetri Photiou
Product Specialist, Insight
Demetri Photiou is a Product Specialist at Insight supporting the Global team. His two biggest drivers are being at the forefront of technological change, and having an impact by helping others. His role to date combines the two, as he is able to discover and design solutions for cutting edge technologies like AI, IoT, and Mixed Reality.
Alex Karim
IoT & Mixed Reality Specialist, Microsoft
Alex Karim recently joined the Microsoft team as Mixed Reality and IoT Product Marketing Manager in March 2021. Prior to this, Alex led the deployment of HoloLens 2 for a large Automotive OEM and later worked with a Mixed Reality partner to support their growth in the EMEA region. In his new role at Microsoft, Alex is focussed on accelerating the adoption of Mixed Reality, IoT and Azure in the UK.
